After 15 years working in the commercial world I discovered a new path in 2011 when a friend suggested Vedic meditation.
I had toyed with other meditation techniques and yoga disciplines but my commitment to them had always been short-lived. I would attend health retreats of various descriptions but the benefits gained in these sheltered places rarely translated into useful tools for everyday life.
The gentle Vedic technique was simple to learn. And it worked. I realised I could maintain a healthy and engaged life without having to remove myself from society.
Twelve months later I was a regular meditator. My physical and mental health had improved. And I had a foundation to ask questions about the people and projects I wanted in my life.
I decided to break from the business world and begin a year-long journey to become a meditation teacher.
